(NEW YORK) The busker with the golden voice has gained fame after being discovered on the streets of New York City and YouTube.James Percell has gone through the school of hard knocks on his way to soothing vocals he performs on the streets of the Bronx, N.Y.

Taking a page from the homeless announcer Ted Williams who found fame and employment from YouTube, Percell was also homeless when he was discovered singing his sweet soulful tunes.

Using social media websites, he has a MySpace page and Facebook fan page that list several of his tracks with titles like Love 4 a Gangster, Control, Shower, and It's Your Body.

Percell wears a cardboard sign that reads: 'Will sing or vocal train you for food or small donation.'

With his Youtube video going viral with over a million hits, will we see movies and albums...

The stand-up comic Eddie Izzard first took his talents to the streets of Sheffield then on to fame in Europe.Can you guess which future star was kicked out of Spain for vagrancy? (WWW) With the global pandemic inhibiting crowd gathering, the world's first online busker festival took place Saturday as buskers from around the world performed remotely from their homes.World Buskers United featured a full 24 hours of world-class entertainment streamed into viewers homes. It enabled buskers to accept tips to be divided evenly among the performers.

Twelve hosts ran the show which included over 90 buskers from North & South America, Europe, Asia, Australia & New Zealand, and even Africa.

Busker Central reporters took part watching the performers starting at 8 a.m. Eastern (USA). Notable entertainers include Professor Bubbles from Germany who showed amazing tricks he devised with bubbles, Wacky Chad's award winning pogo stick skills, and Doktor Kaboom! - an actor/comedian blending...
