(ENGLAND) According to some crazy person over at Asylum.co.uk, the best busker in the world (along with the worst), the best busker ever (along with the worst), and a few other "beautiful", "amazing", and "great" street-musicians are featured in a review for all buskers to relish.Going ga-ga with five videos of incredible street musicians and five not-so-good ones, we find one guitarist actually serenading passersby without any strings! A cross between comedy and mime, he then throws his spinning guitar into the air.

Real steel hang drums, a bass player, and a harpist also get into the act. What would an really insane busker review be without the traditional bagpiper honking away?

(ANTARCTICA) Busking in Antarctica, four British Antarctic Survey's employees took part in Musequality's charity busk and world record. The coolest buskers in the world, the strings on Danny’s guitar cable froze, Paul’s saxophone froze, Tony’s fingers froze and Riet froze. The Antarctic Minkes busked as the temperature dropped from -8°C to -15°C in Antarctica. Musequality funds communal projects for disadvantaged children in developing countries giving them the skills and qualities they need to turn their lives around.

A new article at the Evening Times lists the "top ten" buskers who became celebrities. Blues great BB King went town to town in Mississippi playing his guitar for loose change. The stand-up comic Eddie Izzard first took his talents to the streets of Sheffield then on to fame in Europe.Can you guess which future star was kicked out of Spain for vagrancy? How about guessing which star performed fire tricks on the streets of London? Of course, we can't forget the star who performed a mime act on the streets of New York while an acting student.

The top ten is quite entertaining and revealing while the "X" list (ex-busker) contains an incredible list of lists featuring all buskers who became *Stars*. There is a new master compilation currently being built that is due out sometime next year.

Hoping to get over to Lawrence this Saturday. The Jay Hawks are at home playing football and there is a good crowd milling about in Downtown Lawrence. They are busker friendly. Hopefully will keep me busy. Wish me luck.
