Where the tourists are by BC on Nov 3, 2020
:busker: (WWW) In these challenging times, we must all remember to go directly to the people. The busker must first "seek" an appropriate audience and go from there. What's just as important is a smile on your face which is rare these days. A smile disarms people and they, more often than not, willl smile back instantly making a connection.

Taiwan Buskers Development Association by BC on Oct 2, 2011
:sax: (TAIPEI) Busking is a thriving art in Taipei - a city that is busy promoting Taiwanese street performances featuring modern and traditional elements.
taipei.jpg
In Taipei City alone, there are 59 public places now open to street performers including parks, commercial plazas, and a number of metro stations.

Besides Vieshow Square, the Ximending area in western Taipei and the Tamshui Metro station near the northwest coast of New Taipei City are also renowned busking sites.

The talents of these street performers range from portraiture, singing, acrobatics and juggling to posing as living statues, magic tricks, street dancing,...

Busker Needed on Dec 7 morning in Hamilton by Taylor on Nov 4, 2014
Hi
We are looking for a busker to entertain at our Corporate Children's Christmas Party on December 7 at Dofasco Park.

Our party is from 9:00am - 1:00pm
Depending on the price, we would like someone for 2 hours.

Ideally someone to walk around to juggle and do magic tricks. If you can do this on a unicycle, even better.

I can be contacted at ttaylor@hpa.on.ca or at (905)574-6044 x105

Thanks
Tracy Taylor

A cat named Bob saves busker's life by BC on Nov 5, 2012
:spotlight: (LONDON) James Bowen and his cat Bob have sold over 250,000 books depicting their strange tale. It just so happens Bob saved the poor busker's life.
bob_cat.jpg
Based on a true story, Bob and James may be heading to Hollywood to film the street-performer's enchanting account.

Bob isn't any ordinary orange tabby. It seems he was tired of people wasting away and set out one day to bolster his good karma. While walking down the alley, Bob spotted a street-performer with issues. Now was his chance to make a difference.

Bob immediately took to James and saw great potential withering away - perhaps even dying little by little each day. With the patience of a saint, Bob endures several trials and tribulations as the busker overcomes his addiction.

It's an selfless tail helping an artist get back on track creating...
