World's best & worst street musicians revealed by BC on Nov 6, 2011
 (ENGLAND) According to some crazy person over at Asylum.co.uk, the best busker in the world (along with the worst), the best busker ever (along with the worst), and a few other "beautiful", "amazing", and "great" street-musicians are featured in a review for all buskers to relish.

Going ga-ga with five videos of incredible street musicians and five not-so-good ones, we find one guitarist actually serenading passersby without any strings! A cross between comedy and mime, he then throws his spinning guitar into the air.

Real steel hang drums, a bass player, and a harpist also get into the act. What would an really insane busker review be without the traditional bagpiper honking away?

Someone left the door open. ...

Coast-to-coast with America's Best Buskers by BC on Apr 1, 2013
 (BOULDER, COLORADO) From Boston to Los Angeles, newspaper reporters around the country are suddenly running articles about the best buskers in their neck of the woods.

Chained in ownership, it isn't hard to see that reporters in each city were given the same assignment. Other papers soon hopped on the bandwagon.

As a result, you can now take your pick of the major city in which you're most interested - or the whole sha-bang from coast-to-coast.

Of course, on any given day, there are different buskers out and about. On slow days, it isn't unusual to find full-time buskers enjoying the day off bicycling or hanging at the local café. C'est la vie.

Conversely, since buskers live for the weekend, this is the time to search and report. Unfortunately, the poor reporter may now be off work and having fun doing their ...

Festival by chrisb on Sep 26, 2008
My first busking experience was in Sept. 20-21, 2008. At the Festival of The Senses in Clinton Township, Michigan and what an experience it was. :spotlight: It was the first event i'd done outdoors and at a large event. The director was very nice to me by letting me have 10x10 space for free insted of paying $200 for it. I didn't do it for tips though I did advertised a lot. Right now I'm planning on next year's busk and with help from a friend of mine from New Orleans who is a street perfoming magician and I'm going to his lecture on Oct.4th. I'll be posting new thing on here like pictures, video footage, and upcomming events, so til next time see ya!! :busker:

From France... by Adrien Nox on May 8, 2009
Buskers, buskers, buskers,

I'm a young guy who try to get money playing a little guitare and singing english, spanish and german songs with his French accent. (I confess that :"I'm french"... So excuse me if I don't write really well english !). I'm not a "true" busker, according to the definition some people have here or somewhere else... I'm a student and during my free-time I go to streets and I "busk" for a while. Since I've started, I've decided to put, near my hat, a paper or a board : Each time I change it. First, I wrote sentences like : Je n'a pas de talent- merci (I've got not talent-thanks), Je travaille plus pour gagner plus (I work more to get more -money- thanks), and then I've choosen to write sentences about politic or economic news.

In fact, people give money, in this way, for three reason :
First : they have pitty of me -and they give money because they just see me like a hobo. They are not interrested by my music or my message.
Second...
