Here's a thought -
I'm starting to wonder if cash is actually disappearing. I noticed credit/debit cards were hardly used in Europe years ago. Now, it's becoming more commonplace. This may be a good news article to investigate.

I know the plastic fantastic is being used more and more in Australia. Lot less people with change in their pockets to drop in the hat.
