I wonder if there are any issues re. reciting Poetry without music.
does anyone have any ideas or experience of this?

There used to be a fella in Toronto who made his own books {I bought one, and enjoyed it for years} of stories and he would read excerpts and sell his books on the street.

Maybe if you photocopied your poems, sold them for a dollar or two and read them "live" [loud noise permitting] that might be a way of garnering some attention and a dollar or two? Or put together a little booklet on computer with your work?
