Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could help. I am writing a series of features on busking for my final year project at Uni. One of the feature is 'ten ways to become a great busker.'

Plese could people offer me their best tips. Also, could you please provide your name and the city you busk in. I'm trying to get busking tips from all around the world.

1. Learn a few skills or routines that you enjoy and learn how to move from one to the next. 2. Learn how to present them well. 3. Learn a bit about street busking from talking to someone, watching a video, DVD, or reading about it. 4. Get out and start busking. 5. Learn how to ask for donations. 6. Clock up street time and learn and improve.

The best resource I've found online after a lot of searching around is at http://www.americanbusker.wordpress.com. It covers the basics of what your looking for, while also going a bit deeper into busking psychology and attitudes towards street performance in general. I hope your research goes well!
